Reiki Share for Japan!

The earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan last month has caused the greatest humanitarian disaster in living memory. With so many people injured, missing, and grieving over the loss of family, friends, and homes, the rush to assist has been quick, but it lacks the impact necessary to make a real difference. In short, we need to do more.

Many of us have benefited from the power of Reiki, a traditional Japanese art of healing, spiritual evolution, and enlightenment, and those of us who have been initiated into this noble tradition have a debt of honor to assist the country that gave birth to this now-widespread spiritual path.

Each month we are happy to host a Reiki Share on the first Saturday of every month from 5-7pm at The Mystic Dream in Walnut Creek, CA in which the general public is invited to de-stress and experience the healing power of Reiki while also sending healing energy to those who are not physically present. We accept donations to help cover space-rental costs and no one is ever turned away for lack of funds, but for this next event we will be donating all money received to Doctors Without Borders through the Pagan Japan Relief project at Firstgiving.com to help with the relief efforts in Japan.

Join us on Saturday, May 7th, from 5-7pm,  and share in the gentle healing of Reiki. If you are attuned to any level of Reiki then come and practice your skills and connect with like-minded individuals who are on an adjacent path of spiritual growth. If you are not, then simply allow a team of trained Reiki practitioners to help you regain a sense of balance and well-being using this traditional spiritual healing art, while at the same time helping out those who need it the most.

And if you can't make it, you can still help! All month long The Mystic Dream will be accepting cash and check donations for Doctors Without Borders. Just come on by and make a donation. We will include it with our own after the Reiki Share.
